Online submissions have begun for the OPEN Call to Artisan Crafters for the First Annual Winter Market. The market is open to all artisan crafters! Handmade/original crafts only.
Deadline is November 14, 2020. To submit work: https://form.jotform.com/202824609627156 Roselle Park, NJ- Kick-off the Holiday season at Roselle Park’s winter Market on Friday, December 4th from 4pm to 8pm with our annual tree lighting and visit from the North Pole. The Market will continue on Saturday and Sunday December 5th and 6th from 2 to 8 PM. The atmosphere will be filled with the spirit of the holiday season, with a performance by local musicians, plenty of food, festivities, a winter wonderland for photos and a visit from Santa. Come celebrate the holiday spirit and help attendees find the gifts they are looking for! Date: December 4th, 5th and 6th Time: Friday 4-8 PM, Saturday and Sunday 2-8 PM Location: Chestnut Street, Roselle Park, New Jersey The cost is $125.00. There are no other fees involved. Regrettably, the Roselle Park Arts Festival will not be happening in its usual form in 2020. The uncertain public health and financial conditions relating to the pandemic make continuing this year not possible.

ANNOUNCING ROSELLE PARK ARTS FESTIVAL’S NEW ACCESSIBLE AREA. ROSELLE PARK ART FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR 5TH ANNUAL JURIED ARTS IN THE STREET WITH ACCESSIBLE ARTS ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH
The Roselle Park Art Festival returns on Saturday, September 28th with local, regional and professional artists, artisans and performers. This year the festival will also include an accessible arts division with adapted activities to serve individuals with all types of impairments. “As we expand and grow, we want to do our best to include everyone so this is an exciting new addition to the festival this year,” says Pam Welch-Reinoso, President of the Roselle Park Loves Arts, Inc. nonprofit organization. A Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Behavioral Therapist are leading this effort which is being supported by Roselle Park Loves Arts, Inc. The festival will include adapted activities in music/art/dance for those with motor, physical, cognitive, developmental, or sensory challenges. It will be held in the air conditioned Casano Center for those that require a space that is quieter, less crowded and cooler than outdoors. Many activities along the outside Art Walk will have adapted materials as well. A “Fast Pass” to food trucks will be available to those caregivers/parents of people with disabilities who cannot stand in line. The area will be equipment, including wheelchair, friendly, with adapted supplies including switch-activated activities, potentially an eyegaze activity, and high contrast colors/images for those with VI. Communication boards will be available in all popular symbol sets. We aniticpate someone competant in ASL will be on hand for those with HI. People without challenges may participate in all the indoor accessible activities, but those with need will be serviced first. Susan R. Figueroa, accepted a certificate of recognition for the Kean University Center for Leadership and Service's valuable contribution to the 2018 Roselle Park Arts Festival on Thursday, March 21st, 2019 from Mayor Joe Signorello of Roselle Park. Kean University Center for Leadership and Service brought 12 volunteers (KU undergrads) to the 2018 festival. They pitched in everywhere helping set up the stages, sound systems, activity tables, lug supplies, make signs and created the chalk mandala that was in the center of the street.
