Amanda Bear
Art: Visual Artist
"Amanda Bear Arts is inspired by all the good in life (fireworks, cotton candy, pandas ...) Amanda creates whimsical work sold as prints, originals and textiles on products like tote bags and cell phone cases. She grew up among the cornfields of Pennsylvania and moved to the grit and glam of New York City when she was just eighteen. After getting a Bachelor's degree, she decided the "real world" wasn't for her, and has dedicated her post-grad career toward her art.

There are other ‘hairy hands’ out there on the net...but...being the weirdest and wackiest I am the Hairiest Handest! The proof is in my art...my paintings, drawings, and sketches! Browse through...enjoy...and please, laugh if you will! My material is satirical and meant to tease the funny bone!
They are, as well, for sale. There are no set prices. Make believe its Ebay...and make me an offer. I’ve been known as the ‘bargain basement’ of the art world! |

DAN-I-MATION stems from the nether-regions of Award-Winning Artist/Cartoonist Dan Hilton's wildest imagination, bursting with a collection of strange characters and awkward moments that are guaranteed to leave a mark! Birthed in 2012 and regularly praised since, Dan-I-Mation is home to many original characters and stories, each of which intertwined somehow with one another. Featuring such characters as the mysterious Banana Bandit, the infamous Trash Can Man, the Magic Burrito, Pig Christie, and more!
DAN HILTON isn't a hard guy to imagine. He was a high school loser with more ambition than balls, which, through really hard work, constant distractions, and mind-numbing headaches, eventually paid off. As the hours tick by, he slaves away with his pen, brush, or pencil, creating the future of raunchy American societal criticisms one colorful, 3am exploit at a time! |

Kae Lugo
Art: Visual Arts
Kae Lugo sees the world differently through her lens. Where others see ordinary she creates extraordinary. She articulates her artistic expression through textures, shadows and a full spectrum of colors.
Kae was born in Teaneck NJ and was inspired and encouraged by her mother, who is also very talented. Kae would stay up with her mother and the two of them would paint the night away. Now we know where Kae gets her talents. Kae grew up surrounded by nature at New Jersey’s southern shore. The ocean's calming presence and the beauty of the Pinelands lent for a backdrop to her desire to capture the world through her Canon Rebel. She studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, won the 4.0 GPA award and best of quarter in 2011, as well as nominated five additional times for best of quarter. Her specialty is creative candid portraits, abstract photography and fine art photography, Encaustics. She finds inspiration in rustic architectural surroundings, nature and the simplicity of some subjects. |

Katie Gloede
Art: Visual Artist
Originally from Morganville, NJ, Katie Gloede spent the last four years living in the Boston area, where she started her shop Tiebreaker Bow Ties. As she honed her skills, Katie realized that she loved crafting unique pieces that reflect the wearer’s personal style and add a special touch to his or her day. Tiebreaker Bow Ties combines vintage design and unique textiles with a focus on upholding eco-friendly fashion practices. Katie does her best to work with only responsibly sourced materials; she sources remnant and vintage textiles from local fabric stores, rummages through boxes at yard sales and antique fairs, and explores vintage apparel in specialty shops. Katie loves the reclamation process and the feeling of bringing new life to otherwise forgotten textiles.

Maisha Uzuri Asegun
Art: Visual Art
My name is Maisha Uzuri Asegun and I am an Artist & Graphic/Web Designer
specializing in women and nature-centered images. Since 1992, I've been creating original works of art on paper, clay, and textiles. Amounah Works are original images that celebrate the infinite beauty of women-of-color. These images depict women in their true range of sizes, colors, and cultural expressions. In a world where art predominantly represents a small sample of the women, Amounah Works strives to invoke the pleasure of seeing women we know in everyday life honored in arts and crafts. |

My realist style of painting has been most strongly influenced by Edward Hopper and Johannes Vermeer. Other
major influences are 17th Century Dutch Genre Painting, French Impressionism, Spanish and Italian Realism, and 19th and 20th Century American Plein-Air Painting. My artistic goal is to capture the mood of my subject through intelligent observation and execution of all natural light effects, alongside faithful rendering of perspective and creative composition. Most recently my focus has been on capturing communal landmarks in pre-gentrified neighborhoods in Bergen County, NJ and New York City before their imminent demolition. These structures are fundamental to the visual history of the county and city, but are in danger of being lost forever under the guise of progress. My mission is to paint the elusive atmospheric effects of the three-dimensional world onto a two-dimensional surface. Using color, value, line and paint texture, I can create my own vision and interpretation of nature, for an honest and valid representational work of art. |

Patty Eljaiek
Art: Visual Artist
I was born in Colombia, S.A. and arrived in NY at the age of 3 with my Mami. Embracing I Love Lucy, game shows, pop music and old school Hollywood, I am more a child of Disney than Bolivar. Although my birth culture is sewn into the fabric of my everyday life, my American dream is still wrapped tightly around Frank Capra’s small town Utopia. Born into a family of artists and women inspires me to continue creating, in every way I can.

Paula Cohen-Martin
Art: Visual Artist
Paula recently moved to New Jersey but frequently returns to Brooklyn, New York, to eat fabulous food and visit Coney Island. She lives in a ramshackle 1920's home with her husband, two boys, and two or three fish (depending on the cleanliness of the tank). When not illustrating, she makes jewelry out of vintage bottle caps and paints some incredibly folky/kitschy designs on furniture and other wooden accessories.
Paula graduated from Parsons School of Design and has spent many years freelancing. Her clients include American Showcase, Black Enterprise Magazine, the Boston Globe, Cancer Care, Clarkson Potter, Crown Publishers, Houghton Mifflin, National Geographic, and Scholastic. |

Ray Arcadio
Art: Visual Artist
"I create images born from a reaction to American culture. Specifically, people’s obsession with self image, authority, race, sex, celebrity and commerce. As reference, I use images from print media, internet, television and personal photos.
My visual interests arise from mathematical ideas, surrealism, comic books, tribal art, graffiti and mechanical devices and I let these influence my work as they materialize whether on canvas, paper or as sculptures." |

Rebecca Lippe
Art: Visual Artist
I am 23 years old and recently graduated with degrees in both psychology and studio art. However, studio art has always taken precedence. I am passionate about creative thinking, experimenting with mediums, and bringing to life new ideas that otherwise, wouldn't grow and flourish into physical pieces.
I learned many skills in all of my college art classes, but I am excited to take the next step and explore myself as an artist outside of academic bounds. I have tapped into several different avenues already, including murals, tattoo designs, custom paintings, drawings, and invitations. Nevertheless, my aspirations continue to grow and every day, I set new and bigger goals for myself. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to begin my new adventure and develop these goals. |

Russ Willis
Art: Visual Artist
Russ Wills recently earned his Master of Fine Art in Photography from Academy of Art University. Because the subject matter for his thesis work centered around glass, Wills developed a fascination with fused glass that nearly parallels his passion for photography. Wills’ current work is morphing into a combination of photography and fused glass. In some projects, including his thesis work, fused glass is an important element of the subject matter for his photography, while in newer work prints are fused into the glass itself, shifting the genre from photography to glass art.
